Membership:
CLUB OBJECTIVES:
All applicants applying for membership in the Southern Oregon Terrier Association (SOTA) agree to support and further the objectives of the club as stated below:
1) To further the responsible breeding, care and placement of all pure-bred Terriers
2) To do all in its power to protect and advance the interest of all pure-bred Terrier breeds and to encourage sportsmanlike competition at dog shows, obedience trials, agility, earth dog, and other such competitions.
3) To conduct sanctioned matches, dog shows, obedience trials and other such competitions under the rules and regulations of the American Kennel Club
MEMBERSHIP:
Memberships open to all persons, eighteen years of age and older, who are in good standing with the American Kennel Club and subscribe to the purposes of the Club. All applications for regular membership require two (2) sponsors.
Regular~Dues $20/year per person: Regular members are entitled to all privileges of membership including the right to vote and hold office. Application for regular membership requires the sponsorship of two (2) current SOTA members in good standing.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
Your dues payment will be deposited to the club account upon receipt. However, acceptance of your dues does not constitute acceptance to membership. If your application is denied your dues will be refunded. Membership applications are read at the first general meeting after receipt and voted by secret ballot at the following general meeting. General meetings are held the First Tuesday of each month.
